On 31 August, Roma and non-Roma activists staged a powerful flashmob and delivered the international appeal signed by 38,334 people from across 94 countries to the Czech government urging them to end discrimination of Romani children in education. The campaign was launched in April 2015 and targeted the Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka.

Pictures of Roma children, school materials and Francisciho school in Levoca, Eastern Slovakia. Francisciho school created in September 2011 two Roma-only classes. The Roma parents, together with Amnesty International, have been campaigning since against the segregation and discrimination of Romani children in access to education. In September 2012, some of the Roma children were transfered into mainstream classes, however one Roma class remained. The case is included in the [email protected] portfolio.
